Call for papers

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an accelerator of digital transformation and one of its pillars. Every day, new discoveries emerge showcasing how AI revolutionizes the work of companies that aim to increase their economic rentability through intelligent decision-making. The statistics on this subject are striking and this emergence deserves our further consideration. 

The University of Tunis is proud to organize the second edition of the conference “Intelligence in Business and Industry” IBI 2025 aiming to break down the barriers between the academic world (universities, research laboratories, etc.) and the professional world (organizations, companies, startups, etc.). This initiative aims to encourage collaboration between the two domains creating a platform conducive to the convergence of expertise.  

In this context, a call for communications is launched to promote exchange of ideas around AI projects developed in companies, particularly within research and development (R&D) departments, Tunisian universities and startups.

Guidelines for Authors

Below are the instructions for submitting papers to IBI 2025:

1. Originality of Submitted Papers

      Papers submitted must present original work that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.

2. Paper Submission Requirements

• Papers must be prepared in the standard IEEE conference format on A4-sized paper.
• The IEEE manuscript template must be used (https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html) . Ensure your paper is formatted correctly.
• Manuscripts should be written in English and must be 4 to 8 pages long, including text, figures, tables, references and annexes.
• The first page must include:
  • Title of the paper.
  • Names, affiliations and corresponding address of the authors.

3. Submission Process

• Papers must be submitted in PDF format via the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT) at: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com
• If you don’t already have a CMT account, you must create one before submission.
• During submission, authors are required to provide:
  • • Title of the paper.
    • Abstract of up to 250 words.
    • Keywords in the designated fields.

Note that Posters are also accepted (2 pages).

Guidelines for Authors

• Paper Submission Deadline: 16 February 2025     March, 2nd 2025
• Notification of acceptance: 20 March 2025
• Final version submission: 27 March 2025
• Registration: From 21 March 2025 to 10 April 2025
